This research has an objective to help teenagers overcome the identity crisis and role confusion they have by physical, mental and psychological changes. This research also has an objective which contributes to the necessity of preventive, curative and educative teenager group counseling. Hence, this research's methodology adopted the TA theory based teenager group counseling to verify teenager's ego state and life position and its effect, and also set the following research problems. The first problem was if group based TA counseling has an effect on teenager's ego state.The second question was if group based TA counseling has an effect on teenager's life position. Based on the problems written above, 7 subjects of teenagers living in the State of Gyeonggnam was chosen and they all had no experience on leaving their homes, violence and misconduct. The group counseling on them was repeatedly done 10 times. The last group counseling was made in 1 month after the intense counseling so it will be possible to verify the continuality of the efficacy. The research made a counseling program based on TA theory in order to make the subjects of teenagers recognize them objectively; accept other person; knowing they need to change so finally they can have a positive chances in the future. To make up the limitations of the pre and post exams, the records of personal report, statement contents and records of the observer was considered to analyze the result. As the result of the research, it was possible to verify the TA theory based group counseling if it gives changes into teenager's ego state and life position. Also, as the result of post counseling exam, Some of the teenagers kept the efficacy of the counseling or even had synergistic effect. By the post counseling exam result, it was also possible to verify necessity of the teenager group counseling in its preventive, curative and educative way.

본 연구는 TA 집단상담 적용이 일반 청소년의 자아 상태와 생활 자세에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 한 것이며, 자아형성의 시기에 있는 청소년들의 긍정적 자아의 형성을 돕기 위한 예방적·치료적·교육적 상담의 필요성에 의해 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결론은 첫째, TA 집단상담 적용이 청소년들의 자아상태에 변화를 주었다. 둘째, TA를 활용한 집단상담이 청소년의 생활자세에 변화를 주었다. 이러한 연구의 결과를 통해 TA 집단상담 적용이 청소년의 자아상태와 생활자세에 긍정적인 변화를 주었다. 따라서 청소년을 문제, 비행, 폭행, 장애 등의 수식어로 분류하기보다 현실적이고 예방적인 차원의 지원이 필요하다고 본다.
