Muscle dysmorphia is a preoccupation with the idea that one’s body is insufficiently lean and muscular and considered as a body image disorder in men. This study aimed to investigate the relations among muscle dysmorphia, depression and exercise addiction on a nonclinical sample of male body building participants. The study participants were 429. Participants completed a questionnaire battery consisting of the muscle dysmorphic inventotry, and scales on depression, exercise addiction. The results is follows. First, muscle dysmorphia affected exercise addiction. Second, muscle dysmorphia affected depression. Third, depression affected exercise addiction. Forth, depression was not a parameter between muscle dysmorphia and exercise addiction.
