The object of this paper is to analyze poverty condition of senior citizens and to provide agenda to solve that problem. Particularly this paper pays attention to female senior citizens, because female senior citizens are in worse condition compared with the opposite gender. In order to compare the poverty condition of both gender, this paper selected some indexes as follows: preparedness of cost of living by gender, how to prepare the cost of living by gender, main income sources and their portion, economic participation rate by gender, rate of the public pensioner by gender and age, beneficiaries of the national basic income guarantee by age and gender, poverty rate by disposible income, gender and age, sustainability of poverty by disposible income, gender, and age. This paper suggests that government should support current senior citizens in desperate condition more actively. And the government should plan some proper strategies to extend the coverage of public pension to baby-boomers and middle-aged citizens. In addition to that the government should create and provide decent jobs for the senior citizens. Those kind of policies should be based on a long-term approach and individual citizens should prepare their cost of living for the old aged period as long as possible.
