The current study aims to examine difficult and hard courses experienced by her two daughters as athlete as well as revealing motives a mother encouraged her two girls to do elite sports through a method of telling oral life history. Their meeting started from relations between a coach and a school parent through elite players and the meeting led to an educational community for a children. And since then, the meeting was realized as a participant and a researcher and it can be said that the educational community was established in a more solid way for the student-athlete. They have observed entry into a school of a higher grade based on good game performances during judo club days in middle school and while they have met in relationships between a judge and a player, and between a parent and a judge rather than a player belonging to the same team in national sports events as well as regional games, they have met the player and the parent with special affection compared to other players.

이 연구는 구술생애사의 방법으로 한 어머니가 자신의 두 딸에게 엘리트스포츠를 시킨 동기를 드러냄과 동시에 두 딸이 겪고 있는 엘리트스포츠 선수로서 어렵고 힘든 과정을 살펴보고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 엘리트 선수를 통해서 지도자와 학부모의 관계로 만남이 시작되었고, 그 만남은 한 아이를 위한 교육공동체로 성립되었다. 이후 참여자와 연구자로 만남이 이루어졌으며, 한층 더 학생선수를 위한 교육공동체가 견고하게 형성되었다고 볼 수 있다. 이런 관심으로 중학교 유도부 시절 좋은 경기성적을 바탕으로 상급학교에 진학 한 이후, 지방대회를 비롯한 전국대회에서 소속선수가 아닌 심판과 선수, 학부모와 심판의 관계로 만남이 이루어지고 있지만 일반 선수들과 달리 남다른 애정으로 선수와 학부모를 만나고 있다.
