The research comparatively analyzes the seven authorized textbooks of 'Practical Arts' the units of 󰡔Life Resource and Consume󰡕 that have been developed according to 2007 Revised National Curriculum and to seek future policy direction which can be improved even better, if any, for further revision. To implement this proposal, the study employs 7 different textbooks published in 2011. An analysis criteria for textbook analysis were established through the analysis to a great deal of previously studies on textbook analysis. The analysis criteria were decided to be unit placement and page numbers. photographs and illustrations, the system of unit, learning objectives, the component contents. when it comes to the study method, content analysis which is appropriate for both quantitative and qualitative evaluation was used. The conclusion and suggestions drawn from this study were as follows The number of title was not the same as the component of contents described in 2007 Revised National Curriculum. In terms of layout of units, there were three stages: introduction, body and summary, with a slight difference if the number of pages and placement. The introduction and summary stages were similar in terms of layout. The textbooks were differentiated in the body stage and provided variety. More careful consideration is required in the statement and guidelines for object of curriculum so that a verity of textbooks including the differentiated, abundant materials can be written from angles. Further studies are needed comparative analysis of other Units on the framework suggested in this study.

이 연구는 2007 개정 교육과정에 따라 2011년 초등학교에 새롭게 보급된 6학년7개 실과교과서의 ｢생활자원과 소비｣ 단원을 비교 분석하였다. 선행 연구를 통하여 개발된 분석 준거는 단원의 배치와 쪽수, 사진과 삽화, 단원 구성 체제, 학습목표, 학습내용요소이다. 분석을 통하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ｢생활자원과 소비｣ 단원은 교과서별로 쪽수와 단원배치에 있어서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. ｢생활자원과 소비｣ 단원은 검정교과서 간 최대 6쪽까지 차이가 났다. ｢생활자원과 소비｣ 단원을 3단원에 배치한 교과서는 7개중 4개로 가장 많았다. 둘째, 개발 된 검정 교과서 ｢생활자원과 소비｣ 단원의 사진이나 삽화의 형태는 다양하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 대부분의 교과서에는 삽화 중 사진, 그림, 만화가 대부분 있었지만 표와 그래프는 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 설명적, 보충적 기능을 가지는 사진과 삽화는 비교적 적은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 개발 된 검정 교과서 ｢생활자원과 소비｣ 단원 도입 부분의 체제는 도입 글, 학습목표, 생각열기로 되어 있었다. 또한 도입부분의 대부분은 문장 행태였지만, 만화, 마인드맵, 도해의 형태를 띠는 것도 있었다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 다음과 같이 제언한다. 첫째, 출판사나 교과서 연구진은 향후 교과서 개발 시 학교의 교육과정 운영이나 학생들의 전입이나 전출을 고려하여. 단원의 쪽수와 순서를 정해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 개발된 검정 교과서 중 교육과정 해설서에 제시된 내용요소가 빠진 교과서는 앞으로 내용요소를 보완해 할 것이다. 또한 내용요소에 대해서는 제목을 달아 학생들이 배우는 내용의 주제를 명확히 알 수 있도록 할 필요성이 있다. 셋째, 검정 교과서 이후 실과에서 단원이나 영역 차원에서 비교 분석연구가 앞으로 좀 더 관련 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다. 넷째, 실과 검정 교과서의 분석 연구는 일선 학교에서 교과서를 채택하거나 교재 연구 시 많은 도움을 줄 수 있음으로 많은 연구가 계속적으로 이루어져야 하고, 그 결과가 학교 현장에서 적극 활용되어야 할 것이다.
