This study aims to analyze the playful attribute of Baduk, which is one of play culture, based on the assumption of playfulness of its. In order to investigate the playful attribute of Baduk, we draw 6 playabilities of Baduk through four stages process, based on properties/essence of Baduk and play, which are 'regularity, competitiveness, immersion, spontaneousness, sociality and creativity'.
In situation of being unsatisfied with researches about the native cultural attribute and identity of baduk, this study will become one of based steps in defining the playful attribute of baduk, which is one of traditional culture of the orient.

이 연구에서는 놀이문화의 하나인 바둑의 놀이성을 전제로 바둑의 놀이적 속성을 분석해보았다. 바둑의 놀이적 속성을 규명하기 위해 바둑의 본질과 놀이의 본질을 바탕으로 4단계의 과정을 거쳐 '규칙성, 경쟁성, 몰입성, 자발성, 사회성, 창조성'이라는 여섯 가지 바둑의 놀이성을 도출하였다.
여전히 바둑의 고유한 문화적 특성과 정체성에 대한 연구가 미진한 상황 속에서 본 연구는 동양의 전통놀이문화인 바둑의 놀이적 속성을 밝히는 하나의 단초가 될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 생각한다.
