The purpose of this study is to analyze how the ability of reviewing Baduk games differs depending on Baduk strength, learning time, the sequence of moves, and forms, and to provide useful data for the research on reviewing Baduk.
The research result from this study is as follows:
First, the subjects' ability of reviewing had a positive co-relation with Baduk strength: the stronger a player is, the better his ability is. Second, the analysis of the relationship with learning time shows that the ability of go-over depends upon it in the groups of middle and lower level, revealing the interaction between the group of Baduk strength and learning time.
Third, there was no significant difference between the ability of reviewing and whether the sequence of moves is written or not, showing an interesting result that the case of non-sequence is a little higher than the case of written sequence. Fourth, the ability of reviewing according to the form of the game record reveals that the case of basic records brought a higher achievement than the case of complicated fighting, with the interaction between the group of Baduk strength and the form of game records. In the case of random records no difference was found among the three groups.

바둑에서 자신이 본 기보를 회상할 수 있는 능력인 기보복기 능력은 바둑 전문가의 중요한 한 특성으로 간주된다. 본 연구는 기보복기 능력에 미치는 주요 변인으로 기력, 학습시간, 수순, 기보형태 등을 설정하여 각 변인에 따라 복기능력은 어떤 차이를 보이는가를 탐구하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻어낸 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기력에 따른 복기능력의 차이는 기력이 강할수록 복기능력이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 학습시간에 따른 기보복기능력의 차이는 상위집단에서는 차이가 없었고, 중위집단과 하위집단에서는 학습시간이 길수록 기보복기를 잘 하였다. 셋째, 수순 유무에 따른 기보복기능력의 차이는 세 기력 집단 간 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 기보형태에 따른 기보복기능력의 차이는 기력 상위집단에서는 차이가 없었지만, 중하위 집단에서는 난전형 기보에 비해 기본형 기보에서 더 좋은 기보복기 능력을 보여 주었다. 무작위 기보의 경우는 세 집단 모두 복기 능력에서 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 이러한 결과가 바둑 전문가의 특성을 이해하는 데 주는 시사점과 앞으로의 연구 과제를 제안하였다.
