A family social worker in local areas can play a role as an enabler who intervene family matters, better empower, retain effective family functions, and enjoy satisfying daily lives. Therefore, building and practicing a family case management system which analyzes family dysfunctions, and practices effective interventions through family case managements and professional social work services to deal with those family conflicts in the local areas are strongly suggested. This study attempted to suggest a practice model for family case management based on the family system theory as a method to solve family conflicts by family dysfunction in the milieu of changing traditional family perspectives, growing family related problems and family breakdown. Family members may be able to play a family role positively, by forming family regulations and accepting those family regulations with understanding and consentment.

본 연구는 가족에 대한 전통적 가치관의 변화와 가족관련 문제 증가, 가족해체 현상 속에서 가족의 기능을 재고하고 가족 역기능에 의한 가족문제를 해소하기 위한 방안으로서 가족체계론적 관점에 기초한 가족사례관리 실천방안을 제시하고자 시도하였다. 가족체계 안에서 가족 구성원은 고유의 역할, 규범을 형성하고 그러한 가족규범에 대한 이해와 동의로 긍정적 가족역할이 수행될 수 있다. 가족구성원 전체가 긍정적 상호작용을 지속하고, 가족역기능을 유발하는 행동을 억제함으로 건강한 가족체계를 유지할 수 있으므로 지역의 가족사회복지사는 문제가족을 개입하여 가족의 강점강화, 효과적인 가족기능유지, 만족스러운 일상생활을 가능하게 하도록 구체적인 변화를 가능하게 하는 역할을 할 수 있다. 따라서 지역사회복지관에서 가족문제를 유발하게 하는 가족역기능을 분석하고, 가족사례관리위원회의 논의를 거쳐 전문사회복지서비스를 통한 개입을 시행할 수 있는 가족사례관리 시스템 구축과 실행이 지역사회의 가족문제를 적절히 대처할 수 있는 실천전략으로 제시하였다.
