Recently the world including Korea, new broadcast services that converge broadcasting and communication are becoming very popular. Internet television services using the Internet network, and VOD service mean people can choose to watch IPTV and smart TV, and anywhere, anytime using a light cell phone or other devices that can broadcast Mobile TV broadcasting. This service can be an attraction to many people. The current security measures for the broadcasting and communications convergence services such as IT integration services based on an IP-based network and broadcast technology are already based on a combination of traditional security threats that existed on the Internet. As the security over the existing services are not significant problems related to network security vulnerabilities, the future security of IT integration services and broadcasting services may become a serious problem. Therefore, through the studies of existing protocols and technology services, we must examine possible future the IT convergence threats that can be applied to prevent the future damage to the service. To consider the validity of possible security threats, we must look for so far un discovered problems. And to prepare a response to this, IT integration services need to create a new security model.

최근 우리나라를 포함하여 전 세계적으로 방송과 통신이 융합된 새로운 방송서비스가 큰 인기를 끌고 있다. 인터넷 망을 이용한 인터넷 텔레비전 서비스로, VOD서비스 등 자신이 원하는 프로그램만 원하는 시간에 골라 볼 수 있는 IPTV와 스마트 TV, 장소에 구애받지 않고 가벼운 휴대폰 등의 단말기를 이용하여 방송을 시청할 수 있는 Mobile TV는 매력적인 방송서비스가 아닐 수 없다. IT 융합 서비스 등의 방송통신 융합서비스는 IP기반 네트워크 기술과 방송기술의 결합을 기반으로 하기 때문에 기존의 인터넷에서 존재하던 보안 위협들이 그대로 IT 융합서비스에 대한 위협이 될 수 있으며, 기존에는 보안상으로 크게 문제가 되지 않던 네트워크 보안 관련 취약점들도 IT 융합 서비스 방송 서비스와 결합되면서 중대한 문제가 될 수 있다. 따라서 현존하는 프로토콜과 기술들의 연구를 통하여 IT 융합 서비스에 적용될 수 있는 위협들을 검토하여 해당 피해를 사전에 방지해 야 한다. 그리고 이제까지 발견되지 않았던 문제점들이라도 객관적인 지표로 삼을 수 있는 연구 논문의 결과 또는 앞으로 발생할 수 있는 보안 위협들의 타당성을 고려하여 IT 융합 서비스 보안 위협에 대한 대응책을 마련하기 위한 보안 모델이 필요하다.
