The purpose of this study is to analyze how integrative viewpoint realizes in the 2007 revision of moral education curriculum in elementary school. In other to clarify this study, I reviewed meaning of integrative viewpoint and change of moral education curriculum by integrative viewpoint. In moral education, Integrative viewpoint means integration of morality of cognitive, affective, active components. In this respect, overall national moral education curriculum can be classified into three categories: moral education curriculum centered on action before the 4th moral education curriculum, moral education curriculum centered on cognition during the 4th-6th moral education curriculum, integrative moral education after the 7th moral education curriculum. After the 7th moral education curriculum, the objective of moral education curriculum reflected integrative viewpoint of morality. But in the method materializing it, The 2007 revised moral education curriculum is very different from the 7th moral education curriculum. Morality of cognitive component was reinforced in the 2007 revised moral education curriculum. But morality of affective and active components was weaken. So the 2007 revised moral education curriculum needs supplement them.

본 연구 목적은 초등 도덕과 교육에서 통합적 관점의 의미와 통합적 관점에서 우리나라 도덕과 교육의 변천 과정을 살핀 다음, 2007 개정 도덕과 교육과정에서 통합적 관점이 어떻게 구현되고 있는지를 분석하는 것이다. 도덕과 교육에서 통합적 관점이란 도덕성의 인지, 정의, 행동적 요소의 통합적 접근을 의미한다. 이러한 관점에서 우리나라의 도덕과 교육과정은 제4차 이전의 행동 중심의 접근, 제4차-6차까지의 인지 중심의 접근, 제7차 이후의 통합적 접근으로 대별할 수 있다. 제7차 이후의 도덕과 교육은 도덕성의 인지, 정의, 행동적 측면을 모두 반영하는 통합적 접근이다. 그러나 도덕성의 인지, 정의 행동의 통합적 접근을 구체적으로 담아내는 방식은 제7차와 2007 개정 교육과정에서 차이를 보이고 있다. 2007 개정 교육과정은 제7차 교육과정에서 보다 도덕성의 인지적 측면을 강화함으로써 정의와 행동적 측면의 도덕성을 함양하는 데에는 미진한 부분이 있어, 이에 대한 보완적 접근이 필요하다.
