This study aims to consider the scientific view in Tai-xu's Consciousness Only thought and the convergence of scientific view and Buddhist view of the world in the practice system of Human Life Buddhism. He developed comprehensive modernization including 'emotion modernization' from 'reason-oriented' or 'intellect-oriented modernization'. He tried to find a way to perfect human-being completely because human-being is a emotional being as well as a rational being. He advocated the reformation of Chinese Buddhism, which developed in the system of the perfection of reason and emotion. He accepted scientific intellect to accomplish 'reason modernization' and 'emotion modernization' and systemized his Human Life Buddhism.
