The study is intended to analyze the change of catecholamines(epinephrine, norepinephrine, dopamine) in college student golfers, who were grouped by excellence/non-excellence especially before and after tournament. For the factors of stress hormone, epinephrin, norepinephrin and dopamine were analyzed from circulating blood. Data process was conducted by using Two-way ANOVA RG(2)×RM(2), independent samples t-test and pearson’s correlation analysis, from which the followings were gained. Firstly, the difference of stress hormone between two groups before and after tournament showed the interaction effect of epinephrine. Secondly, the correlation among stess hormone showed statistically significant correlation in epinephrine and nor-epinephrin. In consideration of such results, the features of excellent golfers may contain the increase of dopamine and it was also found that comparing to the increase of epinephrine prior to tournament, nor-epinephrin increased excessively in proportion to it, which might be thought of a physiologic mechanism non-excellent golfers seek psychological stability during tournament. Further, relating to golf performance improvement, it is desirable to prioritize physical golf training but it may be more helpful to improve performance as long as in the early stage of golf training, they were trained with psychological stability and concentration improvement program through nero-feedback adaptation training.
