Monitoring of population life quality is the system of constant supervision on the basis of the chosen indicators behind actual state of affairs in socio-economic sphere for timely revealing and analysis of changes occurring in it, prevention of negative tendencies conducting to decrease of population living standard. Monitoring is the important tool of working out of the social policy directed on consecutive improvement of population life quality and its updating if needed. Consecutive improvement of Uzbekistan population life quality is considered as overall objective of current reforms and economy modernization. Basic approaches of current strong social policy in Uzbekistan are following: predominating role of the state at social policy carrying out; consecutive increase of population life level and quality; maintenance of reliable social guarantees and address social protection; increase of social activity of people; avoid of unfairly high differentiation in population incomes; development of social partnership; increase of role of family in state strengthening.
