The purpose of this paper is not only to indicate how to breed up professional convention organizer and but also is to analgize the present status and problem which is especially focused on the shortage of the professional. To raise the professional convention organizers effectively, we must know what the PCO(professional convention organizer)'s job analysis are. And furthermore we consider to adopt the connected plural major system and the fostering executive ability plan in college.

최근 급성장하는 컨벤션 산업의 영향으로 컨벤션 시장은 날로 규모가 확대되어 가면서, 컨벤션 전문 인력에 관한 관심도 더욱 높아지고 있다. 이러한 시점에 본 연구는 우리나라 컨벤션산업의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고 그 문제점 중 특히 전문인력 부족현상에 초점을 맞추어 전문 인력양성을 방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적을 둔다. 이와 같은 목적으로 진행된 본 연구에서는 컨벤션 전문 인력의 양성방안으로 직업으로서의 컨벤션기획사의 지식조건을 고찰하고 구체적인 방안으로 연계복수전공체제의 활성화와 실무능력배양방안을 제시하였다.
