This study examined factors influencing Korean public relations (PR) practitioners’ job satisfaction and turnover intention. A survey of 154 PR practitioners at Korea agencies showed that PR-related issues such as journalists’ and the public’s positive recognition of PR, managerial job roles, and a discrimination-free environment were important factors influencing practitioners' job satisfaction along with practitioners' pleasure of work itself. Also, this study revealed that pleasure of work itself, job roles, gender discrimination and fairness of salary/promotion opportunity among those factors were significant factors influencing job satisfaction and turnover intention.
