The purpose of this study was to develop localized learning topics on Jeju province and to analyze its validity in Practical Arts. Six committee members(3 professors, 3 graduate students) developed 30 Jeju localized topics in Practical Arts. And a survey of 40 elementary school teachers in Jeju was carried out to verify interest, adaptability of school years(5th grade and 6th grade students of elementary school) and to analyze validity of Jeju localized topics with 5 step scale in Practical Arts. The results of this study were as followings: First, 30 Jeju localized learning topics(10 home economics area topics, 10 life science area topics and 10 technology area) were developed. Second, the mean of interests of children were 3.93 to 4.50. And making Bing-rice cake(M=4.68), making fruit salad with Jeju orange and fruit of Maximowiczia chinensis(M=4.50), exploring animals and plants of Orum and Gotjawal(M=4.45), harvesting Jeju orange(M=4.45), making a model of Taewoo(M=4.45), making a model of a wind mill(M=4.38) were relatively high ranked in mean of interest. Third, the mean of adaptability of school years were 3.58 to 4.45. And making Bing-rice cake(M=4.38), exploring animals and plants of Orum and Gotjawal(M=4.45), experience a natural forest(M=4.40), making a model of Jeju straw-roofing house(M=4.40), making a model of Taewoo(M=4.45) were relatively high ranked in mean of adaptability. Forth, validities of 28 Jeju localized topics were higher than the critical value for validity, CVR 0.29, but validities of decorating Jeju Yongyeon bridge with LED(CVR=0.10) and inventing a sled with brake system(M=0.10) were above the critical value for validity.

이 연구의 목적은 실과 제주 지역화 학습 주제를 개발하고 그 타당도를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 해당 영역 전문가인 교수 3명과 대학원생 3명, 총 6명으로 된 연구진을 구성하였으며, 개발된 학습 주제의 아동 흥미도, 학령 적합도, 내용 타당도를 조사하기 위하여 5단계 척도를 갖는 설문지를 이용하여 조사연구가 수행되었다. 설문 대상이 된 전문가는 제주 지역에 근무하고 있는 초등학교 교사 40명이었다. 이 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째 가정학, 생명과학, 기술학 영역에서 각각 10개, 총 30개의 제주 지역화 학습 주제가 개발되었다. 둘째, 아동의 흥미도 평균은 3.93에서 4.50에 걸쳐 분포하고 있었으며, 흥미도가 상대적으로 높았던 것들은 빙떡 만들기(M=4.68), 오미자, 감귤 화체 만들기(M=4.50), 오름과 곶자왈의 동식물 탐사하기(M=4.45), 감귤 수확 체험하기(M=4.45), 테우 모형 만들기
(M=4.45), 풍차 방앗간 모형 만들기(M=4.43) 등이었다. 셋째, 학령 적합도의 평균은 3.58에서 4.45에 걸쳐 분포하고 있었으며, 적합도가 높았던 것들은 빙떡만들기(M=4.38), 오름과 곶자왈의 동식물 탐사하기(M=4.45), 자연림에서 생태 체험하기(M=4.40), 제주 초가집 모형 만들기(M=4.33), 돌하르방 양초 만들기(M=4.30) 등의 적합도 평균이 상대적으로 높았다. 넷째 30개 학습 주제 중 28개가 타당도 확보를 위한 임계값인 CVR 0.29 이상인 것으로 조사되었다. 다만, LED를 이용한 용연 다리 야경 꾸미기(CVR=0.10), 브레이크 달린 썰매 발명하기(CVR=0.10)는 CVR값이 모두 0.29 이하로 조사되어 내용 타당성이 없는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
