A Study on the Mixed-Use Architectural Planning of Kindergarten and Elementary School - Concentrated on the Public Elementary School Cases in Daegu City -

The purpose of this study is to firstly analyze the characteristics of kindergarten attached to elementary school and secondly suggest its architectural planning direction. The emergence of kindergarten attached to public elementary school reduced educational expense and produced possible educational connections between them. Each program accommodates its basic educational function with these good sides, which should be considered as the planning directions for kindergarten attached to elementary school building. This study proposed planning directions in conjunction with the program connections, exterior and interior acoustic problems, user circulation, transformation for elementary school facility to kindergarten facility and the separated circulation between students and vehicles.
