The Hermeneutical Horizon of the Metaphysics of Life Shin, Syng-Hwan (The Catholic Univ. of Korea) In this paper, we explain the principle of life that will explain the metaphysical scheme. The modern life sciences are made based on a substantial philosophy, because the horizon of the genes in the organism to explain the reality of life is limited and contradictory. The bioscience can be applied to discover the laws of nature available, but for understanding of the concept of life or the meaning of life can not be enabled to expose. Even on the basis of this knowledge and understanding of human nature, this science that attempts to explain apparent philosophical nature tends. Such tendency made on the basis of academic and cultural systems cannot see the existential truth only to fall into the limits and contradictions. Metaphysics of life is attempting to criticize and overcome such fragmentary philosophy based on the principles of life of this bioscience. Incidentally, such as living beings, ahead of the regulations themselves, while achieving their own life to do is to uncover the availability of human life. Traditional metaphysical systems cannot perform these tasks on the principle of life. For these reasons the philosophical thought will be required to explain the principles of life. Here’s the reason these discussions postmodern context and connection-oriented, postmetaphysics built into the system would like to clarify. To this end, based on evolutionary biology, will discuss the philosophical perspective of human understanding, as we discussed the philosophy behind the metaphysical understanding of life. Based on this argument the meaning of the metaphysics for the postmodern thought will be explained.

이 논문은 생명의 원리를 해명하는 형이상학적 체계에 관한 글 이다. 생명체를 유전자의 층위에 제한시켜 해명하려는 현대의 생 명과학은 실체론적 철학에 근거하여 이루어지고 있다. 그러기에 이 과학은 생명의 법칙을 발견하는 데에는 유효하게 적용될 수 있 을지언정, 생명을 개념적으로 이해하거나 생명의 의미를 밝혀내는 데에는 타당성을 지니지 못하다. 심지어 이런 지식을 바탕으로 인 간의 본성과 이해체계에 대한 자연철학적 해명을 시도하는 경향도 두드러지게 나타난다. 그러한 해명을 바탕으로 이루어지는 학문과 문화체계는 존재론적 진리를 보지 못하기에 한계를 지니며 모순에 빠질 뿐이다. 생명의 형이상학을 말하는 이유는 생명의 원리를 일면적 철학에 근거하여 해명하는 잘못된 이해체계를 비판하고 극복하려는 데 있 다. 그와 함께 살아있는 존재로서 자신을 선행적으로 규정하면서 자신의 생명을 이룩해가는 인간 생명성을 밝히기 위한 것이다. 전 통형이상학적 체계로 이러한 작업을 수행할 수 없기에 이 글은 그 러한 사유를 위한 형이상학에 대해 논의한다. 그러한 논의를 여기 서는 탈근대적 사유의 맥락과 연결지어 탈형이상학을 지향하는 체 계로 해명하고자 한다. 이를 위해 진화생물학에 근거한 인간이해의 철학적 관점을 논의 한 뒤 형이상학으로서의 생명철학과 생명성에서 이해되는 탈형이 상학적 특성을 고찰한다. 이를 바탕으로 이 글의 본래 의도인 탈근 대적 사유의 형이상학이 어떤 의미를 지니는지 살펴볼 것이다.
