Recently, The important problem in a sweet potato industry is how to increase of brand-power in region. So how to produce of good quality a sweet potato sapling is very important subject in a sweet potato industry. The income of a sweet potato sapling farm is ￦5,426,000(2008), ￦4,773,000(2009) and ￦3,624,000(2010) per 10a. The reasons of the income of a sweet potato sapling farm decreasing every year are that a product of a sweet potato sapling is decreasing because of unseasonable weather and a wage for cut of a sweet potato sapling is increasing because of decreasing a productivity of a sweet potato sapling production. To increase a income of a sweet potato sapling farm, First, To increase of a product of a sweet potato sapling by to increase of cutting time of a sweet potato sapling through of rightly control of a vinyl plastic hothouse. Second, To get a higher price of a sweet potato sapling through to increase of direct dealing ratio with a sweet potato farm and nonghyup. 2000년대에 들어 고구마가 웰빙식품으로 인식되면서 고구마의 소비가 급격하게 증가하고 있으나, 종순생산 농가의 10a 당 소득은 2008년에 5,426천원, 2009년에 4,773천원 그리고 2010년에 3,624천원으로 매년 감소하고 있다. 그 이유는 이상기온으로 종순채취 횟수가 감소하여 종순의 생산량이 감소하였을 뿐만 아니라 농촌 노동력이 노령화되어 종순 채취의 생산성이 감소됨에 따라서 고용노동비가 크게 증가하였기 때문으로 나타났다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 종순생산 농가의 경영개선에 대하여 익산시 종순생산 농가를 사례로 분석하였다. 악화되어가는 종순생산 농가의 경영을 개선하기 위해서는 첫째, 종순하우스를 철저하게 관리하여 종순의 채취횟수를 늘림으로써 종순의 생산량을 늘리고 둘째, 종순을 판매하는데 있어서 농협 등과의 직거래 비율을 높임으로써 종순의 농가수취가격을 올리는 방안을 강구하고 셋째, 작목반 등 종순생산 농가의 조직체를 활성화 시켜서 중간상인들과의 거래를 지양하고 농협이나 타 지역 고구마 생산농가들과의 직거래 비율을 높여서 농가수취가격을 높여야 할 것이다.
