This study conducted a stratified cluster random sampling-based survey on the users of driving ranges located in G-Metropolis and K-City. The data, collected from 331 respondents, were used for the practical analysis. With the collected data, this study made an exploratory factor analysis to improve construct validity, a calculation of the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient to measure the reliability and a multiple regression analysis, for which it used ‘Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS; version 18.0).’ The significance level was defined as where the alpha-value equaled 0.05. The followings show the results. First, a multiple regression analysis was made of how the golf-participation level (golfing career, frequency and hour) would affect the perfectionistic inclination (self-oriented, other-directed and socially-given perfectionism). The results showed that frequency significantly affected self-oriented and other-directed perfectionism. Second, a multiple regression analysis was made of how the golf-participation level (golfing career, frequency and hour) would affect burnout (personal attainment, depersonalization and emotional burnout). In result, only frequency significantly affected personal attainment. Third, a multiple regression analysis was made of how the perfectionistic inclination (self-oriented, other-directed and socially-given perfectionism) would affect burnout (personal attainment, depersonalization and emotional burnout). The results showed that self-oriented perfectionistic inclination significantly affected personal attainment, and socially-given perfectionistic inclination significantly affected personal attainment. Other-directed perfectionistic inclination significantly affected depersonalization and emotional burnout.
