Recently, the current shortage of the water have been resulted from the meterological phenomena and geographical location. Therefore, we should take a step to conserve and effectively utilize the natural resources. The water supply would continue to increase because of the improvement of the living condition and economic development. It needs to estimate the required amount of the water to forecast the water demand in planning the apartment site in Korea. Considering the apartment characteristics, the estimated amount of water would be supplied in facility system. In addition, the household pay the money to the supplied water. In this paper, it provided the estimation model in water amount and water cost, considering the various apartment characteristics. The main factors are the floor space area, number of household and building volume, which are analyzed in multiple linear regression model. As a result of the multiple regression analysis with a management area, no. of household and building volume, it has a good of fitness and statistics. In addition, it analyzed the water amount and water cost in curve estimation with floor space area and number of household respectively. The multiple linear regression model and power fuction of the curve estimation have a good statistics. The unit of the water amount are 2.46 ㎥/yr․㎡, 237.6 ㎥/yr․household and the unit cost to the used water are 1,082.3 won/yr․㎡, 110,385 won/household․yr respectively.

생활양식의 변화와 향상으로 인해 물소비량은 점차적으로 증가하게 될 것이다. 이에 비해 사용가능한 수자원은 제한적으로 운용되고 있어, 수자원 소비에 대한 체계적인 접근이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 물수요는 앞으로도 계속적인 증가를 보일 것으로 예상되는 한편, 가용가능한 수자원은 제한적이다. 따라서 물의 계속적인 공급에는 한계를 지니고 있음으로, 공급측면보다는 수요적인 측면에서 철저한 관리가 요구되고 있다. 우리나라의 물사용량 가운데 생활용수는 전체사용량의 약 25%수준을 차지하고 있다. 따라서 생활용수의 수요, 공급은 물의 효율적인 활용에 주요 역할을 하고 있다. 공동주택의 물사용은 세대가 필요로 하는 수요와 적정한 수압 혹은 용량을 기준으로 공급하는 설비시스템이 갖추어져야 한다. 이를 위해 세대의 수요에 대응하는 수자원 소비량은 이를 공급하기 위한 관련 설비기기 등을 설계시에 중요한 척도가 된다. 그러나 공동주택 단지에서의 물소비량에 대한 수요는 경험적으로 이루어지거나 참고도서 등을 활용하는 것으로 이루어진다.
