The purpose of this article is to analyze the sport industry policy in the law. 이 연구는 법령상 스포츠산업정책을 분석함으로써 스포츠산업육성정책에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 정책조직에 있어서 체육진흥과에서 스포츠산업정책을 전문적으로 분장하는데 효율성이 저하될 우려가 있어 스포츠산업과의 존치가 필요하다. 스포츠시설운영업에 있어서 법운용이 없는 리조트형스포츠시설업 및 스포츠시설임대업을 활성화 할 수 있는 법제도적 장치가 요구된다. 왜냐하면 21세기 레져여가시대에 있어서 숙박할 수 있는 리조트형이 인기가 있기 때문이다. 스포츠용품업에 있어서 특히 스포츠활동을 하게 되면 반드시 용구와 신발 및 의류가 수반되는 만큼 적어도 이 영역만큼이라도 동반성장할 수 있는 법제도적 장치가 요구되는 것으로 사료된다. 스포츠서비스업에 있어서 회원권판매업은 현실에서 실질적으로 이루어지고 있으나 이를 활성화시킬 수 있는 법제도적 장치가 필요하며 앞으로 주5일제 근무 및 수업이 전면적으로 실시될 경우 국민들의 여가선용과 부가가치를 창출할 수 있도록 스포츠여행업, 스포츠소프트웨어개발업, 비시설교습업, 모험형자연스포츠업을 진흥시킬 수 있는 법운용이 요구된다.
