Modern society is the community of limitless competition. Only minor people can defect the competitors and they get the success. Those people think that lie or cheat need to win the competition. And they use these methods without guilty conscience. Nowadays, social society is encouraging lie and corruption in many areas such as politics, economy, society, culture, education and so on. Many people give complement and envy to the winners who get through the harsh conditions. However, the winners are eager to success obsessively. So they have no time to remind themselves. Most of people on the top of competition suddenly feel empty among all successes, and then they fall into isolation and depression largely, Because they always feel like a fake person, they haven’t got any ability to enjoy an achievement with pride. The accomplished success gives as if it’s satisfying them in that moment. Soon after, they feel vainness and then fall into deep gloom and despair. This paper is researches in the lie, the fake life and personalities. In contemporary compound society, the lie as relatively admissible value is connected with false self and the success which is coming from false self cannot experience festival and enjoyment sincerely. Furthermore it is not only helpful to maintain the pride also strengthen the self-respect. The people who are detained by a lie feel hollow all success by the defense mechanism on truth self. Therefore, they should have got an insight into their ego and internalize fine internal object to renewal life in a lie. For the purposes of this paper, I treat what is an untruth, pluralism view and christian outlook about a lie, formation process of false self which is a source of lie, object relational patterns, correlation between a lie and mental pathology, therapeutic approach on false self.

현대사회는 무한 경쟁사회이다. 소수의 사람들만이 경쟁자들을 물리치고, 성공을 쟁취한다. 그들 중 많은 이들은 경쟁에서 이기기 위해서는 거짓말이나 기만, 속임수가 필요하다고 생각하며, 양심의 가책 없이 이를 사용한다. 지금은 정치 경제, 사회, 문화, 교육 등 모든 분야에서 거짓과 비리가 난무하는 사회가 되었다. 사람들은 어려운 경쟁에서 이긴 그들에게 칭송과 부러움을 보낸다. 하지만 경쟁에서 이긴 자들은 강박적으로 성공에 매달리다 보니 자신을 돌아볼 여유가 없다. 정상에 선 사람들 중에 많은 자들이 애써 이룩한 모든 성취들이 허망하게 느껴지고, 고립과 우울 속으로 빠져드는 경우가 허다하다. 그들은 항상 스스로가 거짓된 존재로 느껴지기 때문에 자신의 성취를 자긍심을 가지고 충분히 누릴 수 있는 능력이 결여되었다. 그들은 자신이 이루어 놓은 성취가 한없이 덧없게 느껴지면서 깊은 우울과 절망감에 빠져든다. 본 논문은 거짓말과 거짓된 삶과 인격에 관한 연구이다. 현대 다원주의 사회에서 상대적 가치로 인정되는 거짓말은 그 뿌리가 거짓자기와 연결되어 있으며, 거짓자기에서 나온 성공은 진정으로 누림과 축제를 경험하지 못한다. 나아가서는 자긍심을 유지하고 강화하는 데에도 도움이 되지 못한다. 거짓에 붙들려 사는 자들은 참자기에 대한 방어체계로 거짓자기가 활성화된 사람들이기에 자신의 모든 성공이 공허하게 느껴진다. 그러므로 거짓의 삶이 새롭게 되기 위해서는 거짓자기에 사로잡힌 자신의 자아를 통찰하고, 좋은 내적 대상을 내재화함으로써 참자기의 능력이 회복되어야만 한다. 논문의 목적을 위하여 거짓과 거짓말은 무엇이며, 거짓말에 대한 다원주의적 세계관과 기독교세계관, 거짓과 거짓말의 근원인 거짓자기의 형성과정, 대상관계의 패턴, 거짓말과 성격장애와의 상관관계, 거짓자기에 대한 치료적 접근 등에 관하여 연구한다.
