This paper attempts to the hierarchical relationship among logistics performance measures and the structural relationship between logistics performance measures and its drivers. Therefore this paper has devoted attention to suggest competitive strategies that would be helpful in achieving the logistical goals. On the basis of the results in this empirical research, the findings of this paper show that logistics performance of firms are influenced directly logistics management system sophistication and organizational structure. The results of structural relationship between logistics performance measures and its drivers can be summarized as follows. First, environmental uncertainty directly influence on the logistics management system sophistication. Second, organizational structure itself is influenced mainly by environmental uncertainty, which in turn is influenced by logistics management system sophistication indirectly. Third, logistic performances are influenced mainly by logistics management system sophistication and organizational structure, which in turn is influenced by environmental uncertainty indirectly. The results of this study help to enhance the firms to become aligned and focused on improving the competitive strategies of logistics system.

본 연구는 물류관리시스템의 중요성을 인식하여 물류성과에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인이 무엇이며, 그 요인간 관계가 어떻게 연결되어 있는지를 규명하여 기업의 물류성과를 극대화하기 위한 정책 수립시에 정책적 지침을 제시하고자 하는 것이 주된 연구목적이다. 특히 본 연구에서는 이 분야 선행연구가 고려하지 않았던 물류관리시스템 정교성 수준이 물류성과에 미치는 매개변수로서의 역할을 새롭게 연구하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 선행연구에 의해 연구의 틀을 설정하며 설문조사에 의해 자료를 수집하였다. 또한 수집된 자료는 구조방정식 모형을 이용해 가설검정을 실시하였다. 실증분석결과, 물류성과는 물류관리시스템 정교성과 조직구조에 의해 영향을 받으나 그 영향은 직접적인 영향이라기보다는 환경불확실성이 물류관리시스템 정교성을 높이고 조직구조의 공식화와 분권화를 촉진하며 이를 통해 간접적으로 물류성과 달성이 이루어진다는 연구결과를 보이고 있다. 기업의 물류성과를 높이기 위해 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 바탕으로 물류성과측정이나 수익성 향상을 위한 물류관리시스템 구축에 본 연구결과를 활용해 볼 수 있다는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다.
