An Effects of Job-family Conflict, Trust to leader, Emotional Labor on Job Attitudes using Consulting Data in Securities Industry

Emotional labor is a construct of increasing interest among theorists in the
management literature. Emotional labor can be defined as the degree of manipulation of
one’s inner feelings or outward behavior to display the appropriate emotion in response
to display rules or occupational norm.
Securities industry worker is performing emotional labor. This study investigates the
impact of emotional labor on job attitudes in securities industry worker. In addition, this
study concerns the relationship between job-family conflicts/trust to leaders and
individual job attitudes.
The scale was used to survey 282 securities industry employees. Multiple regression
were employed to examine the hypotheses. It was found that trust to leader and
job-family conflict associate positively with individual attitudes. Based on these
significant research findings, theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

증권산업 종사자는 대표적인 감정노동자로서 경제환경 및 증권시장의 변화에 따라 다양한
형태의 직무스트레스를 경험하고 있다. 본 연구는 증권산업 종사자를 대상으로 한 감정노동
및 직무스트레스 실태 조사 컨설팅을 통해 확보한 데이터를 활용하여 변수간의 가설적 인
과관계를 검증하였다. 선행연구에 대한 이론적 검토를 토대로 증권산업 종사자의 조직몰입
과 직무만족에 영향을 주는 변수로서 직장-가정 갈등, 리더에 대한 신뢰, 감정노동을 가정
하였다. 연구 결과 리더에 대한 신뢰 및 직장-가정 갈등이 증권산업 종사자의 직무태도에
직접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 가설검증 이외에 증권산업 종사자의 직무스트레스
및 건강관리 실태 조사의 결과를 제시하였다.
