The points of arguments in this article are relative clear. The author explains a historical background and origin about an illusion of scientism in contemparory philosophy, and she argues that one obvious stream of the origin is logical positivists influenced from Wittgenstein. They have changed mystification of science and philosophical movement of extreme scientism into an illusion of scientific philosophy. The author claims powerfully a reinterpretation of Wittgenstein or a return to the genuine philosophy of Wittgenstein in oder to reform a position of philosophy and to set up an identity of philosophy. I question again whether a history of philosophy was a history of misinterpretation. Does a misinterpretation of philosophical texts bring about a creation, or a misunderstanding and distortion? We can see lots of examples about it, and especially we find an example about Hegel's interpretation of Spinoza and Deleuze's interpretation of Hegel which give us exciting arguments. Possibly arbitrary misinterpretation of predecessor philosophers can be varied into a creative interpretation and, the history of philosophy may progress toward a new philosophy. We still confront a fundamental question, i.e. "what is philosophy, today?", in the tensional relationship between such a misinterpretation and interpretation.

필자의 글의 논지는 비교적 명확하다. 즉 ‘현대 철학에서의 과학주의의 망령’의 역사적 배경과 기원을 살피고, 그 기원의 한 명확한 물줄기가 비트겐슈타인으로부터 감화받은 논리실증주의자들임을 밝히는 데 있다. 이들은 과학의 신화화, 과학 만능주의의 철학적 운동이 ‘과학적 철학’의 환상이 되도록 하였다. 필자는 오늘날 철학의 위상을 쇄신하고 철학의 정체성을 확립하기 위해서 ‘비트겐슈타인에 대한 재해석’ 혹은 ‘가장 비트겐슈타인적인 철학으로의 귀환’을 강하게 주장한다. 필자의 논문을 통해 “철학의 역사는 오독의 역사였는가?” 하는 질문을 재차 던져 본다. 철학적 텍스트의 오독은 창조를 낳는가, 아니면 오해와 왜곡과 굴절을 낳는가? 이에 대한 많은 예들이 있겠지만, 스피노자에 대한 헤겔의 해석, 그리고 헤겔에 대한 들뢰즈의 해석이 우리에게 흥미로운 논쟁점을 안겨 준다. 이러한 예들 속에서 철학사는 선행 철학자에 대한 자의적인 오독이 창의적인 해석으로 탈바꿈해 새로운 철학으로 진행되고 있는 것이 아니겠는가. 이러한 오독과 해석의 긴장 관계 속에서 우리는 여전히 ‘오늘날 철학이란 무엇인가?’ 하는 근본적인 질문에 직면해 있다.
