Noise Reduction in VLSI Circuits using Modified GA Based Graph Coloring

초록

영어

Analyzing and evaluating various noise avoidance techniques such as driver sizing, wire sizing, wire spacing and layer assignment. This paper presents an approach to solve the VLSI (very large scale integration) layer assignment problems that will leads to minimization of crosstalk noise. Our approach is based on Genetic Algorithm (GA) with introduction of modified GA operator, which is used to solve our problem that is formulated in a graphcoloring problem. In this paper, we study the problem of crosstalk minimization in 3-layer HVH channel routing without considering dogleg.
