The importance of information ethical education has emphasized by a comprehensive approach to the adverse effect and the ethical issues in information society. But most of the information ethical education is now recognized as an extension of moral education and revolved around an existing ethical education process without the importance of information technology and the analysis of information ethical awareness. As Brey said the information ethical problems has started from that people could not easily understand what kind of side effects exactly are arising because of the complexity of information technology. Especially SNS progress and UCC development & sharing are becoming increasingly common, an ethical judgment is necessary not only in application of information technology but also in production of information & information technology. This study will examine as a preliminary the characteristics of information ethics and make clear the difference through the relation between information ethics and moral development. To achieve this, there is a suggestion of analysis that DIT test(moral development) of Rest and information ethical awareness test conducting a survey of high school students.

정보사회에서 발생하는 역기능과 윤리적 문제에 대한 대응책으로써 정보윤리교육의 중요 성이 강조되고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 정보윤리 교육은 응용 윤리의 한 분야로 인식되며, 정보기술에 대한 중요성 및 정보윤리 의식 에 요구되는 특성에 대한 분석 없이, 기존의 윤리 교육 방식을 토대로 이루어지고 있다. Brey가 언급하는 것과 같이 정보윤리는 정보기술의 복잡성으로 인해 정확하게 무엇이 윤리적 문제를 야기하는지 인지하지 못하는 것 에서부터 시작되는 것이 특징 중 하나이다. 특히 SNS의 발달과 UCC 개발 및 공유가 보편 화되고 있는 현재, 윤리적 판단력은 정보기기의 활용시에만 요구되는 것이 아니라, 정보 및 정보기술을 생산 하는데 있어서도 필요 하다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 정보윤리의 특성을 살펴보는 첫 단계로서 도덕성 발달로 대표되 는 일반적 윤리의식 과정보윤리의식 간의 관계 분석을 통해 그 차이점을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 고등학생 을 대상으로 Rest의 DIT 검사(도덕성 발달)와 정보윤리의식 검사를 실시하였으며 이에 대한 분석을 토대로 시사점을 제시하였다.
