Children of multicultural families is putting down roots as important members in education field and Korean church. Now, it becomes the responsibility of Korean society and church to help to establish identity of adolescent in multicultural families firmly and to adapt and growth as members of Korean society. This study examined the biblical Hyo(filial piety) education as a device for helping adaptation of adolescent in multicultural families as members of Korean society and church. Adolescence is a critical period for formation of identity. Hyo(filial piety) education for adolescent in multicultural families can be the effective way for support of adaptation in Korean society and formation of identity. Because of Hyo(filial piety) is the basis of Korean culture and core of human education of Korean society. The ultimate goal of biblical Hyo(filial piety) education for adolescent in multicultural families is the adaptation in Korean life culture and the standard of value and the identity formation as the Korean people and people of God through the right understanding of biblical Hyo(filial piety). And the objectives of biblical Hyo(filial piety) education are to learn the fear of God through the respect for parents, to love families and to care the elderly on the basis of the respect for parents, to love neighbors and nation, to protect nature and to serve mankind as a extension and practice of Hyo(filial piety). These objectives are connected directly with the contents of Hyo(filial piety) education, that is Hyo of representation, Hyo of obedience, Hyo of affection, Hyo of continued existence. The plan and practice for the biblical Hyo(filial piety) education on the basis of the goal, objectives and contents of biblical Hyo(filial piety) education suggested in this study is respected to contribute to the identity formation and the establishment of biblical values for adolescent in multicultural families.

다문화사회로 진입한 한국사회에서 다문화가정의 자녀들은 교육의 현장과 한국 교회의 중요한 구성원으로 자리 잡고 있다. 이제 다문화가정의 자녀들이 자신의 정체성을 확고히 정립하는 동시에 한국사회의 일원으로서 건강하게 적응하고 성장 하도록 도와야 하는 것은 한국사회와 교회의 책임이 되었다. 본 연구에서는 다문화가정의 청소년들로 하여금 한국사회의 일원 으로서, 또 교회의 구성원으로서 잘 적응할 수 있도록 돕기 위한 방안의 하나로서 성경적 효교육에 대해 살펴보았다. 정체성 형성에 있어서 결정적 시기에 있는 다문화가정 청소년에게 한국문화의 기 저를 이루고 있으며 한국사회가 인간교육의 핵심으로 여겨온 ‘효’에 관해 교육하는 것은 한국사회 적응과 한국국민으로서의 정체성 형성을 지원하는 효율적인 방안이 될 수 있다. 다문화가정 청소년을 위한 성경적 효교육의 궁극적 목적은 ‘성경적 효에 대한 바른 이해를 바탕으로 한국의 생활문화와 가치규범에의 적응과 그를 통한 한국국 민으로서, 또 하나님의 자녀로서의 바른 정체감 확립’이라 할 수 있다. 그리고 이 를 위한 성경적 효교육의 목표는 부모 공경을 통하여 하나님을 경외하는 법을 배 우게 하는 것, 부모를 공경함으로써 어른을 섬기며 가족을 사랑하게 하는 것, 부모 공경의 효가 이웃사랑과 나라사랑으로 확장되어 실천되도록 하는 것, 그리고 효의 정신이 자연보호와 인류봉사로 확장되어 실천되도록 하는 것이다. 이는 곧 성경적 효교육의 내용인 대리의 효, 순종의 효, 친애의 효, 존속의 효로 연결된다. 본 연구 에서 제시하고 있는 성경적 효교육의 목적과 목표, 그리고 내용을 바탕으로 다문 화가정 청소년을 위한 성경적 효교육의 방법을 구상하고 실천함으로써 다문화가정 청소년의 건강한 정체성 형성과 성경적 가치관 확립에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기 대된다.
