The purpose of this study is to analyze effects of participation after school sports and weekend sports on sport we-ness and self-efficacy of the elementary school children. The subjects in this study were 211 students from D elementary school and S elementary in Gang Won-Do. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which we-ness scale as identified by Kang(2007) and self efficacy scale as identified by Han(2009). Data analyses consisted of frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA used SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0 version. The following results were obtained: First, there were not significant differences in we-ness and self-efficacy between grade of elementary school students . Second, there were significant differences in we-ness and self-efficacy between participation after-school sports and weekend-sports or non-participation after-school sports and weekend-sports of elementary school students. Third, there were partially significant differences in we-ness and self-efficacy among participation period after-school sports and weekend-sports of elementary school students.
