The difference of Incidental Facilities Satisfaction in Personal Characteristics of Golf Country Club’s Customers

The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference of satisfaction with incidental facilities according to the personal characteristics of customers in order for effective management of golf country clubs and provision of fundamental data of marketing strategy for incidental facilities. By convenience sampling method, 186 of customers of golf country clubs located in Daejeon, Chungnam, and Chungbuk were selected as a significant sample. To draw study results, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, independent t-test, and one-way anova were utilized. The results are as following. First, there were partial differences showed in satisfaction of customers with restaurant satisfaction according to their personal characteristics. The longer golf experience customers have, the more differences there were showed in restaurant satisfaction. Second, it seemed that there were partial differences in satisfaction of customers with shower facilities satisfaction according to their personal characteristics. More specifically, the satisfaction with shower facilities showed differences according to monthly wage. Third, the satisfaction of customers with a supplementary exercise facility showed partial differences according to their personal characteristics. In other words, depending on gender, the satisfaction with a supplementary exercise facility showed differences and the satisfaction according to monthly income as well. Thus, for the improvement of customer satisfaction and effective management of a golf country club, it is required to design supplementary exercise facilities with having interior diversified to conduct differentiated marketing considering customer’s gender. Subsequently, it is recommended to differentiate customer benefits and diversify the development of a customized product, considering customers’ monthly income and golf experience.
