This paper is aimed to stress the necessity of education for creative visual thinking in the film and video-related education curriculum. The faculty of creating various visual and narrative solutions for film and video starts from the expressiveness ability of the creative thinking and visualization. This study suggests that "the learning design based on creative thinking and visual exercises' enhance the faculty of visual expressiveness that can be utilized as a basic learning course of film and video. The learning design based on creative visual exercises was originally developed as a learning method of the thinking and visual performing training with various approaches. "Creative visual exercises" consist of basic and application levels divided into four sub-fields of exercises such as 'seeing,' 'feeling and experiencing,' 'time and space conceptualization,' and 'story reinterpretation and composition'. 'This paper finally suggests the learning courses to develop creative visual thinking with applicable examples that can be utilized in the courses.

본 연구의 목적은 영상 교육 과정에서 창의적인 영상 표현을 위한 교육의 필요성을 인식하고 영 상교육 현 장에서 활용할 수 있는 학습방법을 연구하는 데 있다. 영상의 다양한 시각적, 내러티브적 솔루션 을 창조하 는 능력은 창의적인 시각 표현능력에서부터 시작된다. 본 연구를 통해 영상표현 능력을 향상시 킬 수 있는 ‘창의적 시각 훈련 중심의 학습방법’을 개발하고 영상 기초 학습과정으로 제시하고자 한다. 창의 적 시각훈 련중심의 학습은 다양한 접근방식의 시각훈련법을 학습과정으로 개발한 것으로 영상관련 전공 대학생을 대상으로 하는 영상 기초 교육과정에 활용하고자 설계되었다. ‘창의적 시각훈련’은 기초 단계와 응용 단계 로 구성되며 ‘기초보기 시각훈련’, ‘느낌과 경험 시각훈련’, ‘시공간 개념 시각훈련’, ‘재해석과 스 토리 구성 시각훈련’의 4개의 시각훈련을 기초로 한다. 본문에서 창의적 시각훈련 학습방법 개발을 위한 학습설계 및 학습과정을 제시하고 학습과정에 활용할 수 있도록 적용 사례를 들어 설명하고 있다.
