The story of this film is that the heroine Sodan has a good time along with ghosts in the Samgeori theater. The ghosts are actors and actresses of a discontinued film at the Samgeori theater. They wish to continue to show that film. Sodan rescues the ghosts(actors and actresses) from suffering in a way to find that film and to continue to show it. In this film ‘Samgeori Theater’, darkness of movie theater has a meaning of a essential element to mutual understand between spectators and characters. And this film demolishes a boundary between fiction and reality, or between inside of film-story and outside of it. Characters in a film come out of a screen into the movie theater. The film ‘Samgeori Theater’ shows that many desires are in a movie theater, and that a movie theater consummates understanding and curative functions.
