초록
영어
The purpose of the study was to examine effects of tea ceremony program on self-efficacy and self-control of high school students at M city in Jeonnam province. 22(13 male, 9 female) students from J vocational high school participated as experimental group and 25(17 male, 8 female) students from S vocational high school participated as control group. To examine the effects of tea ceremony program, a pretest before the program and a posttest immediately after the program were administered. Statistical analyses of data were mean, standard deviation, frequency, 2 test, t-test and paired t-test. Cronbach's was computed for the reliability of the scales. The results were as follows: First, tea ceremony program was proven to be effective for the improvement of adolescent's self-efficacy. The subscales of self-efficacy showed significant differences between pretest and posttest among experimental group were self-regulatory efficacy and total self-efficacy while none of subscales(self-confidence, self-regulatory efficacy, task difficulty preference) of self-efficacy showed significant differences between pretest and posttest among control group. Second, tea ceremony program was proven to be effective for the improvement of adolescent's self-control. In the experimental group, there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest. The mean score of self-control was significantly increased. Although there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest in the control group, the mean score of self-control was significantly decreased.
