Development of a Social Interaction Program for the Enhancement of Adolescent's Key Competence

The objective of this study is in developing a social interaction program to enhance youth key competence. The program was structured to run for a total of 12 weeks, and the study was conducted on an experimental group, where the subjects were 30 adolescents from Gangseo-gu, Seoul who participated in the developed social interaction program, and a control group, where the subjects were 30 adolescents from the same area who did not participate in the developed program. The study results showed that for both attentive listening and problem solving factors in social interaction, the averages of the experimental group were higher compared to the control group. However, the results were not statistically significant.
