IPTV(Internet Protocol TeleVision) service is representative of the broadcasting-communication convergence which provides the TV service and communication one using high-speed internet. Therefore, the management of Quality of Experience (QoE) that has an affect on qualities by contents, set-top box, and network quality of provider is hastily needed. This paper tried the user survey and analysis of the existing standard methods, and chose the appropriate standard in order to establish the subjective QoE which is suited for the domestic and home environments. Also, we carry out a questionnaire through the experimentation a point of view end-user, and propose the amendment criteria such as general viewing conditions, grading scales, and test period(viewing and evaluation time) based on the selected ACR(SS) standard method.

IPTV 서비스는 초고속 인터넷망을 이용하여 방송서비스와 통신서비스를 복합적으로 제공하는 대표적인 방송통신 융합서비스로 사업자의 망품질 관리와 더불어 컨텐츠, STB 등 품질에 영향을 미치는 이용자의 주관적 체감 품질에 대한 관리가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존의 주관적 체감 품질 방안을 조사·분석하고 적합한 표준안을 선정하여 이를 국내 및 댁내 IPTV 품질평가 방식에 맞도록 주관적 이용자 체감 품질 방안 수립하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 실험을 통하여 사용자 관점에서 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 선정된 ACR(SS) 모델을 기반으로 실험실 수준이 아닌 실제 가정에 적합한 평가척도, 평가주기 등의 세부 기준을 조정하는 방안을 제시하였다.
