With the advent of smart TV a personal device such as a smart phone is required to provide content seamlessly with the aim of N-Screen. KT provides various value-added services of OllehTV, IPTV platform, services to personal devices to extent personal experience through multiple screens. Specifically the requirement of N-Screen is accommodated by implementing recommendation and search services of OllehTV for necessary contents on personal devices. In this paper the application for intelligent recommendation and search services of OllehTV is introduced into a personal device. The intelligent recommendation and omnibus VOD services are implemented on iPad and iPhone and the category search service is implemented on iPhone. The necessary contents can be searched and accessed easily through these intelligent recommendation and search services. Especially the omnibus VOD services can provide a requested program fast. The possibility of personal device for various roles and creativity of new services is verified with regards to various IPTV services.

SmartTV의 등장과 함께 점차 대두되는 N-Screen 시대와 맞물려 개인단말도 TV와 함께 또 다른 스크린으로써의 다양한 역할을 요구받고 있다. KT에서는 IPTV인 OllehTV 의 다양한 부가서비스를 개인단말에도 제공하여 사용자의 경험이 여러 스크린으로 확대될 수 있도록 하고 있다. 특히, 생활속에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 많은 콘텐츠 중에서 필요 한 콘텐츠를 쉽고 빠르게 찾을 수 있도록 해주는 OllehTV 추천/검색 서비스를 개인단말에도 제공함으로써 N-screen의 요구를 수용하고 있다. 본고에서는 개인단말에 구현된 OllehTV 콘텐츠 지능형 추천/검색 서비스 어플리 케이션을 소개한다. 지능형 추천서비스 및 옴니버스 VOD 재생 서비스를 아이폰과 아이패드에 구현하였고 카테고리 검색서비스를 아이폰에 구현하였다. 이러한 지능형 추천/검색 서비스를 통하여 콘텐츠를 쉽고 편리하게 찾아서 즐길 수 있으며 옴니버스 프로그램 시청시에는 특정 코너만을 빠르게 찾아서 볼 수 있다. 개인단말에서 IPTV와 연계한 다 양한 서비스를 구현해 봄으로써 개인단말의 다양한 역할과 가능성 및 신규 서비스 창출의 가능성을 살펴보았다.
