This research aims to clarify the effects of supports from business incubation centers on resident enterprises’ organizational performance by the medium of the quality of LMX. In particular, structural equation models were employed to ascertain the interaction among job satisfaction, organizational commitment and perceived corporate performance. This LMX related research is the first empirical investigation into the executives (n=163) of the enterprises housed in business incubation centers conducted in Korea. The following are the findings of the investigation. First, support from a business incubation center as a leader had a significant effect on the quality of LMX and the job satisfaction but not on the organizational commitment. Second, the quality of LMX had a significant effect on the organizational commitment but not on the job satisfaction. Third, the job satisfaction had a significant effect on the organizational commitment. Lastly, the job satisfaction did not have an effect on perceived corporate performance, but the organizational commitment did on perceived corporate performance. Conclusively, in a business incubation center, support from the leader had a positive effect on the organizational commitment via the quality of LMX and the job satisfaction, and the organizational commitment did on perceived corporate performance. Moreover, a causal relationship between the consequences was verified since the job satisfaction had a positive effect on the organizational commitment and so did the organizational commitment on perceived corporate performance.
