Korean Chinese poetry, after the process of selection and exclusion and mix, has now become a specific culture. This was possible only by the effort of Korean Chinese poets who hadn't given up their cultural legacy, despite the 60 years of suffering in becoming Chinese, anti-right wing struggles, the Cultural Revolution and the periods of opening to other countries. The development of Korean Chinese poetry can be described as a process of keeping the selective cultural tradition and creativity. Korean Chinese poetry can be characterized by 3 aspects. First aspect is that Korean Chinese poems are written in Hangeul. Second, Hangeul culture in Korean Chinese literary world has a firm ground and vitality, being supported by publishing, distribution and critique which connect the producers with the readers of Hangeul literature. In addition, the culture presented in Korean Chinese poetry suggests a new direction for Hangeul culture within a settled environment. In a broader perspective of the world, Hangeul culture among Korean Chinese people developed in China through literature indicates the power of a cultural community within a large cultural group. Therefore, we should focus more on general association among different types of Hangeul cultures in a contemporary aspect, instead of cultural association based on a shared ground.

중국 조선족 시는 선택과 배제, 그리고 혼성성의 과정을 거쳐 오면서 특정 문화로서의 지 위를 보여주고 있다. 이는 중국인으로서의 국적 취득, 반우파투쟁기, 문화혁명기, 개혁개방기 등 60여년의 질곡을 거치면서도 문화적 유산을 잃어버리지 않은 중국 조선족 시인들의 노고 가 있었기에 가능한 것이다. 중국 조선족 시의 전개 과정은 말하자면 선택적 문화 전통의 계 승과 창조의 과정이라고 할 수 있다. 중국 조선족 시의 특징은 문화적인 관점에서 크게 세 가지로 정리할 수 있다. 우선 중국 조선족의 시가 한글로 쓰이고 있다는 사실이다. 다음, 한글 문학의 생산과 독자 수용의 연결 관계가 출판, 배급, 비판 활동 등의 문학 제도에 의해 견지되 고 있어 중국 조선족 문학계의 한글 문화가 견고한 생명성을 발현하고 있는 것이다. 또한 중 국 조선족의 시가 보여주는 문화는, 토착된 환경 속에서 한글 문화의 새로운 방향을 제시하는 특수성을 보여준다. 문학을 통해 중국에서 전개되고 있는 중국 조선족의 한글 문화는 전 세계 를 염두에 두고 볼 때 거대한 문화 집단이 갖고 있는 문화적 공동체의 힘을 보여준다. 이때 우리는 근원적인 공유에서 출발한 문화의 연관성에 집착하기보다는 현재적 관점에서 다원적 으로 분포된 한글 문화끼리의 공시적 연관성에 초점을 맞추어야 한다.
