World global athletes have chose perfect sport for their gifted ability along with tremendous work ethic and training atmosphere. Many nations including Australia, United States of America, Great Britain, China, and Japan are tried to find the best of the best in gifted and talented children. In July 2009, eleven sport science institute at universities in Korea, including Korea National Sport University, started sport talented education program as national policy project. Thus, the purpose of this study is to discuss definition and information on nation branding, and to investigate about importance of enhancing of nation brand through sports. In fact, the effects of 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games were calculated about 20trillion won. It included incomes from the exposure of the medalist to the media, the promotion of Korean corporation branding and improvement of nation’s morale. Therefore, it is very important that systemize whole process of finding, cultivating and managing athletes through sports scientific methods.
