The true meaning of Korean Community including Korean Diaspora presupposes the role and vision of forming Korean Community through the network of overseas Koreans unlike the past under the developing circumstances of the mother country aiming for an advanced country in intelligence technology. In the trend towards recognizing newly the importance of overseas Koreans and maximizing profits of the mother country through the systematic relations with them, this paper aims to search for the connection with overseas Koreans, the importance of integration and the developmental direction in Korean studies in the midst of globalization. Ultimately, the construction of the network for the development of Korean Community will be able to not only help overseas Koreans enhance homogeneity and identity of Korean people. It will also help various relations and integration between Korean people. If only the value of brands of ‘things Korean’ where the whole cultural contents of the mother country including the contents of identity of Korean people are melted can be communicated through intelligence technology in the daily lives of seven million overseas Koreans, the era of ‘the Network of Overseas Korean Community’ will be opened in reality as well as in name.

전 세계의 한민족이산을 포함한 한민족공동체 의미는 IT선진국을 지향하는 모국의 발전된 현실에서 과거와는 달리 재외 한인 네트워크를 통한 새로운 한민족공동체 형성의 역할과 비전을 전제하고 있다. 여기서 교민집단들의 중요성을 새롭게 인식하고 그들과의 유기적 연관관계를 통하여 자국의 이익을 극대화하는 새로운 경향에서, 재외한인의 연계와 통합의 중요성 및 세계화속의 한국학의 확대발전방안 모색이라는 본 논문의 취지와 의의를 찾게 된다. 결과적으로 지구상에서 가장폐쇄적인 북한을 포함한 “한민족 네트워크 공동체” 발전을 위한 연결망의 구축은 재외 동포들에게 민족의 동질성을 높임과 동시에 한민족의 정체성을 확보하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있으리라 본다. 또한 한인들 간의 제반교류에 도움이 되며 한민족을 통합하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 한민족의 정체성내용을 포함한 총체적인 모국의 문화내용이 녹아 형성된 한국적인 것의 브랜드 가치화된 IT 소통이 북한을 포함한 700만 재외동포에게 생활화 될 수 있도록 한다면, 명실상부한 네트워크 한민족공동체의 번영시대를 열개 될 것이다.
