The purpose of this paper is to explore internal structure of underlying information acquisition process on Products' Development(PD) activities of effective management for Korean defense industry enterprises.
For the purpose, three standpoints are established in this study;
(1) The process of PD project can be divided into three stages.
(2) The patterns are also different by the degree of innovations and the degree of success of the PD project.
(3) The determinants of the patterns are types, channels and sources of information, which are identified through literature survey.
