The Defense Agency for Technology and Quality (DTaQ) was established on 2 February 2006 in order to enhance transparency, efficiency, professionalism and competitiveness in the field of defense acquisition. The purpose of the agency is to conduct more systematic planning, surveying, analysis, and evaluation, as well as to provide information management pertinent to defense science and technology, and quality assurance for acquisition of defense materiel.
Focusing on adaptation to the new organization and system, we as a newly launched organization will exert every effort to strengthen the professionalism of our workforce and secure the technological prowess needed to meet various defense technological requirements in a timely manner, while providing the utmost in quality service to the military and the people of our nation.
We aim to grow as an institute capable of effectively coping with the future security environment, and to play a key role in developing an advanced, digitized force the military can depend on.
The entire staffs are fully committed to developing the organization to a professional research institute with world-class competitiveness which will serves as the hub for defense science and technology planning through the accumulation of specialized technologies and transparent business practices, while performing trusted quality management activities for the acquisition of defense materiel.
