After 20 years of the enforcement of the Designated System of the 1st and 2nd Defense Company, it had haven the merits of the prevention of dual investment and the concentration of technology development, and so on, but it had haven also the demrits of the prevention of penetration of new competitive companies. Therefore with the foundation of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, the Measures after the Abrogation of the Designated System of the 1st and 2nd Defense Company were to be abrogated.
Here, the follow-up measures after the abrogation of the Designated System of the 1st and 2nd Defense Company are studied to make the best use of the merits of it and give the competitiveness of the defense industry of Korea.
