As urbanization has progressed, many types of hospitals have established. However, Using and maintaining lots of hospitals that they have their own functions are so diverse that we need a distinct guideline for the sake of effective and economic operation. This study understand energy consumption through field survey aimed at mass general hospitals in Busan, analyzed energy consumption and pattern according to building size, equipments, and energy source. Therefore this study draw up energy consumption unit of mass general hospitals in Busan, thereby attempting to establish DB for energy consumption reduction and preparing energy supply and demand policy of mass general hospitals. As a result of this research that we can conclude : 1) The average electric power consumption of 11 mass general hospital is 156.2 kWh/m2․year. 2) The average fuel energy consumption of 11 mass general hospital is 255.3 Mcal/m2․year. 3) Energy consumption unit of 11 mass general hospitals is 591.0 Mcal/m2․year in Busan metropolitan city.

본 연구에서는 부산광역시에 위치하고 있는 종합병원을 대상으로 현장조사를 통해 에너지 소비량을 파악하여, 건물 규모 및 설비 시설, 에너지원에 따른 에너지 사용량 및 소비 패턴을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 부산광역시 종합병원의 에너지원단위를 작성함으로써 병원건물의 에너지 소비 절감 및 에너지 수급정책의 마련을 위한 DB를 구축하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 조사한 부산지역 종합병원의 전력 및 연료 원단위는 156.3kWh/m2․yr, 255.3Mcal/m2․yr로 에너지원단위는 591.0Mcal/m2․yr로 나타났다.
