Technology has been playing and will play important roles for operating lodging industry, especially hotel business. In other Words, Technology applied to hotel also means differentiation among hotels competing one another.
Information technology using computer is the most effective technology that has improved the productivity of hospitality industry. So, nowadays a lot of hotels have an interest in information system applied computer to evolve hotel information technology.
But hotels have not gained benefits of information system fully because many hotels have not applied information technology to their hotels strategically.
So, I suggested the tool which helps hotels apply information technology by redefining value Chain suggested by Michael E. Porter in 1985.
