In this study, patents for the practice of golf putting were analyzed, which were registered at 2000'. Putting practice devices were classified into 3 groups. The first type provides information related to putting such as tempo and direction before putting. The second type provides special putting path for the practice. And the last type provides information on the golf ball and putter movement after putting. The result shows that the last type was used at the most patents and photo sensors are most frequently used for the sensing of golf ball and putter movement.

본 연구의 목적은 골프 퍼팅 연습 장치와 관련된 지적 재산권에 대한 분석을 하는 것으로서, 본 연구에서는 2000년 이후 등록된 퍼팅 연습 장치 관련 지적재산권에 대하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 퍼팅 연습 장치는 크게 3그룹으로 분류되는데, 첫째, 퍼팅하기 전에 퍼터속도, 방향등의 정보를 제공하여 퍼팅을 연습할 수 있는 장치, 둘째, 퍼팅에 대한 경로를 제공하여, 반복 연습하게 하는 장치, 그리고, 퍼팅이 이루어진 후, 퍼터및 골프공의 운동, 즉 속도와 방향을 측정하여 그 결과로 얻어진 정보를 제공하는 장치 등이다. 이 중에서 골프공 및 퍼터의 운동을 측정하는 장치가 가장 많았으며, 운동을 측정하기 위한 센서로서 광센서를 가장 많이 사용하였다
