This study aims at proposing the method of creating new contents by combing the existing contents with Baduk regarded as the essence of Oriental culture. Two kind of methods were applied: inserting the element of Baduk to the story of "Battle of Red Cliffs" contained in the well-known novel, "Records of Three Kingdoms"; converting the story to the situation of the Baduk world. The results are as follows: First, the way of adding the element of Baduk to the existing famous story could be a nice method of inventing Baduk cultural contents. Second, the method of inserting Baduk elements into an original work is a relatively easy and effective recomposition.
Third, the method of converting the original to the story of the Baduk scene is more difficult, but brings the effect similar to expressing the current political situation into the form of a fencers' novel. If it arouses the sympathy of the general public by developing the cultural contents of Baduk, it will play an important role in the image-building and and consequently the spread of Baduk.

본 연구는 동양문화의 진수라 할 수 있는 바둑을 기존의 콘텐츠와 접목시켜 바둑 분야의 참신한 콘텐츠로 개발할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 독자들에게 널리 알려진 <삼국지> 중 적벽대전이라는 사건에 바둑의 요소를 접목하는 방법과 적벽대전의 스토리를 바둑계의 상황에 대입하는 두 가지 방법을 사용하였다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존의 유명한 스토리에 바둑의 요소를 첨가시킨다는 아이디어는 바둑문화콘텐츠를 개발하는 하나의 방법이 될 수 있다. 둘째, 본래의 작품을 살리며 바둑 요소를 삽입하는 방식은 비교적 쉬운 개작방법으로 효과적인 방법이라고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 원작의 줄거리를 살리되 바둑계의 이야기로 변환하는 방법은 다소 어려우나 작금의 정치 현실을 무협소설 형식으로 표현하는 것과 같은 효과를 낼 수 있다. 현대 사회의 핵심 산업으로 부각되고 있는 문화콘텐츠, 특히 아직 다양하지 못한 바둑문화콘텐츠를 기존의 콘텐츠와 접목시켜 일반 대중들에게 공감을 얻을 수 있게 된다면 바둑의 이미지 구축과 보급에 중추적인 역할을 하게 될 것이다.
