Abstract : In this study, college students who belong to 1∼2 person households were selected as the main target of this study. Because getting smaller families is a significant change of our society and 1∼2 person households show a dramatic increase. Nowdays college students tend to attach great importance to privacy and personality. And current college students' basic needs and personality, has not been reflected at all. So a typical college dormitory space for students needs to provide alternative for utilization of dormitory space for college students because of their tendency. It's how to study proceed first, study for a person households and open-housing was conducted. Second, by analyzing the previous study, set a direction of the research and examines whether there is a similar case applies. Third, set a concept of function and form of the housing parts. Fourth, examined feasibility of setting concept to college dorm. Finally, propose the practical problems that can occur in the concept stage and provide solution. Through the process promote a convenience&cost efficiency. This study intends to overcome standardized spatial configuration of college dorm interior space and reduce financial burden for resident. This study suggests that meet a personal needs of residents and make easier to fix and removement by inventing a housing parts used in a variety.
