The purpose of study is an inquiry into ‘everyday life’ as subject of elementary physical education lead to academic discussion previously a actual research regarding everyday life in line of elementary physical education. The important of physical activity was reported to run standing research consequence but lowness of participation population was very serious. According to this study indicated to an aim go forward the future of elementary physical education lead to a new methodological a point of view applied to reality. It is necessity to everyday life study be high possibility regard to interconnection of everyday life. I wished that the research had progressed applied to actual lead to approach of a phenomenological method study constantly. This study was of helped the characteristic of everyday life with that positive study for holistic make for elementary physical education.

이 연구의 목적은 초등체육에 있어 일상성에 관한 실증적 연구에 앞서 이론적 논의를 통하여 초등체육 교육연구의 주제로서 ‘일상성’을 고찰하고자 한다. 신체활동의 중요성은 지속적인 연구 결과를 통해서도 알 수 있듯이 밝혀져 왔지만 참여인구의 저조율은 매우 심각하다. 이 연구에서는 새로운 방법론적 관점을 통하여 실제 현실에 적용하고 현시대에 적합한 시각에 맞는 관점에 따른 연구방법론을 지향함으로서 초등체육 교육이 앞으로 나아가야 할 방향임을 제시하고 있다. 일상생활의 맥락을 고려한 현실가능성이 높은 일상생활 연구가 필요하고, 현상학적 연구방법의 접근을 통하여 현실에서 적용할 수 있는 연구가 지속적으로 진행되었으면 한다. 이 연구에서 제시하고 있는 일상성의 특징과 함께 홀리스틱(holistic)을 지향하는 실증적 연구가 앞으로 초등체육에서 진행되는데 이 연구가 새로운 시각을 제시하고자 한다.
